There’s something different about getting out into the country.
The space. The seasons. The people. The produce. The places you might otherwise drive straight past.
Muddy Hill Country Experiences are about creating genuine reasons to stop, stay awhile and experience a little more of regional Victoria.
Some will be simple. Some will be seasonal. Some might only happen once.
And some of them are still ideas being thrown around the Muddy Hill kitchen table.
But that’s where most good things start.
Experiences Worth Leaving Home For
We’re creating experiences that connect people with country places, local produce and regional communities.
That might mean wandering through a paddock of sunflowers, joining us for a special event, discovering something made or grown locally, learning something new, sharing food around a table or simply spending a few hours somewhere you wouldn’t normally get to go.
We’re not trying to manufacture a version of country life for visitors.
We want to create experiences that feel genuine to the places, people and communities they come from.
Real places. Real people. Proper country experiences.
Muddy Hill Sunflowers
One of the first Muddy Hill experiences taking shape starts with a paddock — and a lot of sunflower seeds.
Muddy Hill Sunflowers will be a seasonal country experience built around our sunflower field, giving visitors the opportunity to step through the gate and spend some time among the flowers.
But we have plans for it to become more than somewhere to take a photo.
Over time, the sunflower season will give us a backdrop for special events, seasonal experiences, local produce, flowers and a few Muddy Hill ideas that we're keeping up our sleeves for now.
Like anything grown in a paddock, exactly what happens will depend a little on the weather, the season and what Mother Nature decides to throw at us.
That’s part of the experience.
COMING SOON!!
Our first Muddy Hill Country Experiences are currently taking shape.
As experiences become available, you'll find them here with all the details, dates and booking information.
Watch this space. The gates aren't open just yet.
